Rebates & Funding
There are several ways you may be able to reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
Medicare Rebates
If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan or Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) from your GP, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates on selected allied health sessions. The number of rebated sessions is determined by your referring GP.
- Bulk billing available for eligible 30-minute dietetics Progress Check with a valid CDM referral.
- Mixed billing applies for appointments longer than 30 minutes — a Medicare rebate may apply with an out-of-pocket gap fee.
- Speak with your GP to find out if a CDM or EDP plan is right for you.
Private Health & NDIS
We accept all major private health funds and offer HICAPS on-the-spot claiming so you only pay the gap. NDIS and WorkCover funding are also welcome.
- Accepted funds: AHM, CBHS, HBF, HCF, Medibank, Bupa, NIB and more.
- NDIS-registered provider — bring your plan to your appointment.
- You cannot claim both a Medicare rebate and a private health rebate for the same session.
Payment: Payment is processed at the time of your appointment, and you'll receive an emailed receipt afterwards. Health fund rebates can be claimed on-the-spot via HICAPS where available.
4. Appointment Booking and Cancellation
Booking: When you book an appointment online or by phone, you are making a binding commitment to attend. We will send you a confirmation.
Cancellation Policy: Appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice incur no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, may incur a cancellation fee (generally the full appointment cost).
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment, subject to availability. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Clinic Cancellations: In the rare event we must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment.
